14. The City offers its residential garbage customers a bulk item pick-up service on Thursdays. Bulk items are oversized or extra garbage (not food waste) that does not fit in your garbage cart with the lid closed, including, but not limited to furniture, mattresses, box springs, carpet rolls (max size 3 feet long, 1 feet in diameter) and appliances.

    1. All items must be placed at my regular garbage collection location
    2. Materials must fit into a rear load garbage truck or on a one-ton truck and must be transportable by two people
    3. The maximum item size accepted is 4 feet x 6 feet
    4. All items must be 4 feet away from my garbage container

    1. No loose garbage will be collected
    2. Bagged or boxed items must weigh 35 pounds or less
    3. There is a fee for this service, which will be applied to my utility bill once the pick-up has occurred
